These terms govern your use of this website and any purchase from Border Shipping Containers Pty Ltd (ABN 52 634 127 950). We supply and deliver within Australia only. Nothing in these terms excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

1. Quotes and orders
Product listings are an invitation to treat, not an offer. A contract is formed only when we confirm your order in writing. Written quotes are valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise. We may decline or cancel an order — including where a product has been listed at a materially incorrect price, or where stock is unavailable — and will refund you in full if we do.
2. Prices and GST
Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST unless otherwise stated. Delivery is quoted separately and is not included in the listed price unless expressly stated. We may change prices at any time, but not for orders already confirmed. A tax invoice is issued with every order.
3. Payment
Payment terms are set out on your invoice. Unless agreed otherwise in writing, full payment is required before dispatch or collection. For custom and modified units a deposit is generally required to commence work, with the balance payable before delivery. Goods remain our property until payment is received in full.
4. Delivery, title and risk
We supply and deliver within Australia only. We do not ship internationally and do not accept orders for delivery outside Australia. Delivery timeframes are estimates — see our Shipping & Delivery Policy for handling, transit and total delivery times. Title passes to you on full payment; risk passes to you on delivery or collection. Site readiness and access are your responsibility, and failed-delivery and redelivery fees apply where a site is not ready or accessible.
5. Condition of goods
Used and second-hand containers are sold in the condition described in the listing or quote. Surface rust, dents, patch repairs, previous paintwork and residual markings are normal characteristics of used shipping containers and are not defects. Where a container is described as wind and watertight, it will be so at the time of delivery. Grade definitions are set out on our Warranty page.
6. Consumer guarantees
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under that law.
7. Returns and cancellation
Returns, refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Returns Policy, which forms part of these terms.
8. Modifications and intended use
Where a unit is modified to your specification, you are responsible for ensuring the specification meets your intended use and any applicable building, planning or council requirements. We do not provide engineering, planning or building certification unless expressly agreed in writing.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, and subject to clause 6, our liability for any claim is limited to the replacement or repair of the goods, the resupply of equivalent goods, or payment of the cost of doing so, at our option. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
10. Intellectual property
All content on this website is owned by us or used under licence and may not be reproduced without permission.
11. Website use
You agree not to use this website for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with its operation, or to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it. We aim to keep product information accurate but do not warrant that listings are free from error.
12. Privacy
We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
13. Force majeure
We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including weather, industrial action, transport disruption, port congestion or supply shortages. Where such an event occurs we will contact you and agree a revised timeframe or refund you.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page when you place your order is the version that applies to that order.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State.
16. Who you are contracting with
Your contract is with Border Shipping Containers Pty Ltd, ABN 52 634 127 950, of 150 Colemans Rd, Dandenong South VIC 3175, Australia.
